Sightings

My first sighting today, Saturday 13th June, was Catherine, filling a group of student volunteers with enthusiasm; then I saw a black cat with a blue ribbon which fled from my approach but obligingly crossed my path three tines. So far as wild creatures were concerned, there were two growing ducklings with their attendant mother we on the serpentine creek. Then after waiting ten minutes for the sun to warm up, I spotted a Meadow Brown butterfly in the ‘butterfly glade’ and my pic of it was photobombed by a Common Blue Damselfly. I also photoed a Common Green Bottle Fly on the apple tree behind Nicola’s bench.
