Sightings

Conditions were perfect (warm, no wind) for a Bat Walk on the Trap Grounds this evening, led by Suzanne Dalton. Seven species were detected: Daubenton's, Noctule, three kinds of Pipistrelle (Common, Nathusius', and Soprano), Lesser Horseshoe, and -- for the second year in succession -- the rare Greater Horseshoe.
