Sightings

A bit of a late entry, apologies Catherine! 20/07/26 I was lucky enough upon my first visit to the Trap Grounds to spot a kingfisher whilst sitting beside the Swan pond with Catherine Robinson. It flew past us twice and the flash of blue was unmistakable. 21/07/26 I returned to the Trap Grounds the following day for a bat hunt led by Suzanne Dalton. We were all gathered in front of the Swan pond waiting for the bats to emerge when I spotted the same flash of blue in the reeds opposite me. I tried to get my camera out in time but the bird flew off before I had a chance to capture it.
